What do I get with a custom website?
A site designed around your business, not a template with your logo dropped in. Each page is built to load fast on a phone, read clearly and lead to one action, like a call, a booking or an order. Titles, structured data and speed work for Google are done from day one, and the code and logins are yours.
What's the difference between a website and a web app?
A website mostly shows information. A web app lets people do things: log in, book, pay, upload, track an order or manage an account. It runs in the browser, so there's nothing to install, and one build works on a phone and a laptop. When you need the app stores too, we build mobile apps.
Which build do you need?
5 common starting points. Most projects begin as one of these and grow from there.
| Build | What it's for | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Landing page | One offer and one action, often for a launch or an ad | One fast page, a form or booking link, tracking set up |
| Business website | Showing what you do and turning visitors into enquiries | Custom pages for your services, SEO set up, contact and booking |
| Online store | Selling products with payments and delivery | Product pages, checkout and payments, order emails |
| Web app | Letting customers log in, book, pay or manage an account | Logins, payments, notifications and an admin panel |
| Mobile app | When your customers need you on their home screen | iPhone and Android apps, store listings and updates |
Which technology do you build with?
Whatever suits the job and your team. Most of our websites and web apps are built with modern web tools like Next.js and React, because they're fast, easy for search engines to read and easy to hand over. You get a plain-English map of what runs where, so nobody is locked in to us.
How long does a website take to build?
A landing page moves much faster than a full store or an app, so we don't quote a stock number. We reply to your brief within 24 hours with a plan and a date, before you commit to anything. You watch progress on a live link, and we tell you early if anything puts that date at risk.
How much does a website cost?
Pricing is on request, because a 5 page site and a booking app are very different jobs. After a short brief you get one fixed price for the agreed scope, with a plan and a date, before any work starts. If the scope changes later, we tell you what it costs before we do it.
Who looks after the site after launch?
We do. Maintenance is part of what we deliver: updates, fixes, security, hosting care and small changes as your business moves, like a new page or a price change. You send requests to one place and get a short note on what changed. You can still take it elsewhere any time, because it's all yours.
How does a website project run?
Every build runs in the same 4 steps, from the first message to the months after launch.
- The briefTell us what you need in one email or a short call. You get a plan, a price and a date back fast. No 40-page proposal.
- Design in the openYou see real progress as it happens, in your inbox and on a live link. No big reveal on deadline day.
- Build and polishEvery page, flow and frame gets checked before it reaches you. Anything off gets fixed first.
- Launch and look afterWe ship it and hand over the code, files and logins. Then we keep looking after it: updates, fixes, security, hosting care and small improvements.
